Does anyone know of any Senior mens hockey leagues or groups in the Tampa area? By senior I mean older, fatter and slower. I'm retiring next month and moving to the Spring Hill area. I've been playing a couple of times a week with groups in the Niagara Falls, NY area. It's the one thing I'm really going to miss about this place in the winter. I'm 56 years old and I've been playing for 40 years, just can't keep up with the young kids anymore, by kids I mean the 20 to 40 year olds. Any thoughts.

Are you looking for ice, roller or deck hockey? Check out the Tampa Bay Skating Academy in Oldsmar, they have leagues and two ice rinks. If you're looking for deck or roller hockey, I played for a bit at a place called Sportzone in New Port Richey. They had a lot of varied age groups in the leagues.

Thanks, I'll contact those rinks and see what they have for the old and decrepit. By the look of their websites it looks like hockey is going to be a little more expensive down there!
