we will be moving from buffalo,ny to the riverview area and need help finding an apartment. we are looking for 2 or 3 bedroom aparts. that do not allow sec.8. also was wondering if we would be better renting a house if the rents are about the same. we will be buying in the future but want to live there for a while first to get to know the area better. any help would be great.

What area of Riverview are you considering? The Brandon area, just north of Riverview has the best selection of aparts. The southern area is mostly sub-divisions with a limited amount of aparts. You may want to consider renting a home. House prices are very low now. We live in South Fork, several miles south of Riverview. It's a growing area.

There really are no apartment communities in Riverview, they are all in Brandon. Houses are for rent out in Riverview for decent prices. Nice apartment communities in Brandon are The Estates at Tuscany Ridge, The Addison, Courtney Trace, and Hamlin at Lake Brandon.
Riverview is an up and coming 'burb and is growing. There are tons of housing divisions out there.

If you want a house, you can rent a nice house in Riverview for a reasonable price right now. If you want an apartment, I'd check in Brandon. Best wishes!

riverview is very nice. there is a place called allegro palms, it's both apartments and condos and they are close to everything, but also off the beaten path. close to all major highways, shopping and restaurants. they are very very nice. in riverview, just across the street from brandon basically. they have 4 br apartments for rent. i lived there before and really liked it.

For the most part that would be Riverview but also Brandon, it's only down the street. I know someone who works there and knew a few who lived there that weren't too pleased, but everyone has their own views. Seems to be well kept up.

Anyone else recommend a few good apartments in the Brandon area?
