Good day Everyone,

Hope you are all doing well. I am a not so new but not so old resident of New Tampa.

I am searching for some local Adult Soccer league, preferrably recreational or pick up games.

I've found one in Wesley Chapel but I've heard of other adult soccer games in the temple terrace area.

Please let me know if you are part or know of any adult soccer league in the area.

thanks in advance.

IB

My advice, contact the local soccer (youth) clubs and talk to the coaches there. If you go to The Official Website of Florida Youth Soccer Association they list all the clubs in Region C (which is where Tampa sits)
My husband is a coach in Pinellas and he used to play over 40 league but there are others, you just need to talk to coaches at clubs, they usually know who or where to find out.

There is a county recreational park on the corner of McIntosh and 92 in Plant City that has pick up games almost every evening. There is a large predominantly Mexican population that meets there and plays futball until late in the evening. The field is lit so they do play at night in the winter months. Be warned, they are GOOD compared to most soccer players. It is as if soccer is all they live for. You may want to call the county. They may have info on who to contact. If the lights are on, there has to be someone in charge.

I use to play in the Suncoast Soccer League years ago and I wonder if they're still around there. They have many different divisions starting from 4th Division and up to Premier. I just found a link to their website here. Good luck.

Hi TB,
I am actually fairly new to New Tampa myself, and I am trying to find a Soccer League as well. Just wondering if you had found one?
I haven't played in a long time but I'd like to pick it up again.
Thanks
James

Careful with joining Tampa Sports & Social Club. Google Search the club ratings, and Better Business Bureau before handing any money over to this club.

Yea man there is pick up games in Temple Terrace right behind Greco middle school on Saturdays around 1230, usually around 20 of us or more, good competition and nice people. You''ll pay like 2 dollars to support everyone as they rent a field or two, o these are pick up games. See ya there!

I play soccer myself and already looked up a league in the Tampa Bay area, in advance of possibly moving there in the future.

I found an indoor adult league: Pinellas-Largo-Clearwater-Seminole-St-Petersburg-Indoor-Soccer (http://www.pinellasindoor.com/adult-soccer-leagues.html - broken link)
