Moving down from Wisconsin shortly and need to know a few things about South Tampa.

1) Is there a/what's the best bar to watch Wisconsin Badger games?

2) Ditto for Packer games.

3) Do any of the cable/satellite providers carry Big Ten Network?

I live up in Ocala so I can't really help you with places to watch South of Tampa. However, the Big Ten Network is carried nationally on Directv, so if you don't have a dish or can't get a dish, then go to any bar with a dish and they will have the Badger games. Secondly, see the link below for a place to watch the Pack:

Packers.com » Fan Zone » Where To Watch Listing (http://www.packers.com/fan_zone/where_to_watch_listing/ - broken link)

Also, like the BTN any place that promotes sports and has a dish likely has the Sunday NFL package so you can watch Packer games there. I guarantee you'll find at least ten Packer fans at EVERY SINGLE BAR you go to looking for games so you'll find camraderie as well. Cheers...and go Pack!

Go to the lovely, non-smoking, family-friendly Varsity Club on US 19 in Clearwater. It is THE Packer bar in the Bay area. It is not just a sports bar that plays Packer games. The entire bar is filled with Packer fans and transplated Sconnies. Get there early though- most seats are taken an hour before the game! Be sure to get a Varsity Club Packer Backer T Shirt while you're there.

Alright I realize I'm digging this out of nowhere. I'll be making the move to Tampa from Madison in a couple weeks. What's the best place for the games? If like to go to a bar with a bunch of Wisconsinites. I don't really know anybody or very much about the area. The place in Clearwater sounds like a good place. What's the consensus for a good place and reasonably priced beverages and some Wisconsin food? Any help is appreciated!

You could always become a Bucs fan and root for your new hometown team.

Jet Fan and former season ticket holder moving to St. Pete next month. Already have my Bucs Revis Jersey. Easy to root for the home team (NFC) too when your old team is AFC. Only have to watch out for Superbowl matchups or the very occasional matchup like THE HOME OPENER. I'll actually be back in NY for that game and I've already decided to wear my Bucs jersey to stir the pot with my Jet friends. Hoping to make some new friends to tailgate and go to Buc games with.
