Hello,

I am looking for a good place to go shopping. I like designer discount stores or stores that have really good sales. The best store I've found so far is the Saks outlet near Sarasota.

Anyone have any other recommendations? In particular I'm looking for office clothes.

Thank you,

BJS

Dillards! They usually have really BIG sales certain times of the year, but I've found that they'll often have discounts from 40%-75% off! There are a few times a year where they will have 75% off their shoe racks, but as aforementioned, they still will frequently have 40% off their shoes.
I won't buy shoes anywhere else.
I think it's fair to say that all of the brands they carry are of really good quality and you can usually find great items at really low prices if you keep checking back. Even their employees love their sales.

Other than that, depending on your age (I'm in my early 20s), The Body Shop will sometimes have nice fashionable, cheap, professional/dress items. They're not the greatest quality as a department store, but I've bought quite a few slacks and dress tops there that have lasted a year now and still remain in one piece.

Also, check your local consignment stores and garage sales (if you have the time). You have to hunt and keep checking back, but I've purchased some of my better high-end quality items from consignment stores and garage sales.

Good luck!

Off 5th stores are at Prime Outlets in Ellenton (north of Sarasota) and also in Orlando (near International Drive) --> Prime Outlets.

Also in Orlando is Premium Outlets (visible from I-4) --> Orlando Premium Outlets.

Tampa has/had a Perry Ellis Store but I never found anything smaller than a XXX.

There's also a DSW on South Dale Mabry in front of the multi-level Target complex. I could spend hours there.
