Does anyone know of anywhere along the Gulf Coast ( St Pete and north) that you can buy fresh seafood off of the boat?

Only place I can think of that has the freshest fish I've tasted is Mitchell's Fish Market here in Westshore (Tampa). They pride themselves so much on this that their saying is, "from boat to throat!"

If your speaking of a Seafood Market(not restaurant) I get my Fresh Seafood at Trappman's on Gandy Blvd on St. Pete, just east of 4th Street. Always Fresh daily, right off the boats.

Frenchy's in Clearwater just off the circle. They have a restaurant and across the street you can buy fresh seafood. Ask the restaurant.

Thumbs up www.icsharks.com

I. C. Sharks is a new seafood market located at 13060 Gandy Blvd. St. Petersburg. It's side of the Bannana Boat. They have the freshest fish that I've ever bought. It is SO clean and the price is good! Their website says that they are building a raw bar behind the market at the marina. They even have rental boats! Check it out!

You can't really buy seafood "off the boat", but some fish houses have their own fleets. One is Save on Seafood in Gulfport.
