Hello All,

I'm looking at a home in the non gated portion of seven oaks with entrances by 56 and Bbdown.

Is there any specific reason why we should avoid a non-gated area in this community?

It looks absolutely beautiful. Just want to be sure we're not making a mistake.

The gated communities in Seven Oaks come with an extra, but minimal, HOA fee to cover gate maintenance. It's easy to just walk right in, though. You should be more concerned with who built the house and the quality of construction. Make sure you have a thorough home inspection as part of your due diligence period and talk to the neighbors where possible. Not all builders offer the same in materials and construction practices.

I own a home in Seven Oaks in a non gated community and we have no issue what so ever. ( I pay like $ 900 less in CDD than the gated communities and also less HOA fee)There is one community also non gated that has a lot of short sales due to being so close to I-75 and the noise from the Interstate and there are plans to widen 75 so the noise will increase. So it all depends which community
