Sports isn't my thing, but I'm hoping the Rays make Tampa Bay proud. DH will be at the game tomorrow.

And game 2. I'm not at all surprised either as throughout the season I felt both the White Sox and the Cubs were slightly overrated. I really believe Minnesota would have posed more of a problem for Tampa as they finished the season strong and swept Chicago late in the season. The team to watch out for are the Angels. They are very pesky in the way they win and they get an awful lot of cheap wins on bloop hits in out field and grounders in the infield. Especially Chloe Figgins. They have a good manager and make few mistakes in the field.

On a related subject has anyone else heard the song "It's Our Season" on the radio or at a game? It is one of the most inspired songs I have heard. It's produced some talented locals named James Peoples, Davie Gill and Herman "Cristol" Grant. You might have to have some taste for hip-hop/rap to appreciate this song but it's as good as anything I've heard on the radio, baseball related, Tampa Bay related or otherwise. I was feeling so down after the Rays lost tonight but I felt better after watching the video on Youtube.
