If you have children its worth staying in Kentucky, no matter what kind of job your husband has, jobs are easier to find than a good education and environment for your kids. Your kids will be homesick, so will you. I have friends that have moved to Kentucky from Florida making less a lot less there and are very happy. The nudist colony is actually an upscale community with many adults and yes children, they have been there a lot longer than most Floridians and likely be here after most Floridians move back, What is so beautiful about a golf course than has taken up land and wildlife so a bunch of guys can wander around and talk business, oops forgot they were more important. Before any one moves here subscribe to the Tampa Tribune, Saint Pete times, and read Daniel Ruths column, both also can be read online.

Exclamation Homosassa

Something you may want to know, Homosassa, or the town within 5 miles, has a nuclear power plant! It is called Crystal River. Took kids to the beach and kept seeing 'air raid sirens'. No they were nuclear power plant meltdown sirens! Unless you want to glow, I wouldn't move there. Power company has announced plans for a second nuclear power plant 8 miles away from the first plant as well. Also area is VERY depressed. Chili's is like the MOST expensive restaurant. "I think I'll drive to the Piggly Wiggly for some tomatas." Seems like the economic booms from the past 20 years have passed the town by. It would also be a huge drive. Spring Hill is much nicer. Far enough away from a lot of the crime, etc, but close enough. Land is very expensive in FL. I live in Ocala, and an acre is about 90k+, unless you want to live with rundown trailers in the swamp and then it is about 30k+.
