Hi! I may be joining you there in a few months. My name is Shannon and I live in Canada.
I have some questions for you about living with your disease in Tampa. How does the weather affect you? What's the best time of year for having less symptoms, and what's the worst time of year? Has Tampa been better for you than where you lived before?
Are you able to work? Disabled? Housebound? I'm housebound and disabled (10% functional - that's just enough to take care of basic body needs and read a little. I get help with the rest), but thankfully I can still use the computer sometimes!
I have to lie down most of the day, so I love the views of the houses I've seen there. Any place with trees is awesome to me. It looks like a small garden could do well there too. Since I am stuck in the house, I basically get to see the front yard and the back yard of any house I live in, but not the rest of the city.
How are the doctors there for treating chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and fibromyalgia (FM)? Are they informed and caring? Do you feel that you are receiving good treatment? Are there qualified naturopaths in the area? How about other alternative practitioners?

I have to lie down most of the day, so I love the views of the houses I've seen there. Any place with trees is awesome to me. It looks like a small garden could do well there too. Since I am stuck in the house, I basically get to see the front yard and the back yard of any house I live in, but not the rest of the city.
