Hi There-

Like many, many others, I've been laid off. I'm a Graphic/Web Designer. I have an Associates Degree, but no Bachelor's. I have about three years full-time experience.

I'm posting today because I've been checking out the locations of dozens of magazines I'd like to work for. Most are in NYC or SF, but one, Photoshop User, lists it's HQ in Oldsbar, FL.

My question is, does anyone know what the Publishing Industry job situation is like in the TBA? Another question I have is, if I do get offered a job in that area, will I feel like the only liberal, white, male, 20-something for miles?

Thanks!
