Re: sex offenders and FL - I was bugged by that quite a bit also, until I learned that part of the reason there are so many registered is because the State is vigiliant about getting them registered, where other states may look appealing because the number is low, the number may only be low because of lax registration. i was looking at Arcadia, but it had a 1 : 12 sex offender ration (or something like that, seemed crazy high) then I learned the ratio is high because there is a sex offender treatment center near by. not sure where I'm going with this, some of the info can just be overwhelming sometimes. Good luck in your decision

What you say is true and I have noted the save thing in previous threads.

New York for example until recently only required level 3 offenders to register.

I know it seems like every area I checkout on this site had R.S.O except LOL. I know there are R.S.O everywhere you go but this site just brought it to my full attention. When you check out the cities actually site they tell you how good the place is, but they never say "Hey there are # of R.S.O living here".
