Hi there. I just moved to Brooksville from Ft Lauderdale, yes I know MAJOR DIFFERENCE but actually I love it here. I am looking for a some-what local belly dance class. I have googled and let my fingers do the walking but I cant find anything other than in Tampa or Orlando. I dont mind driving a little but an hour is more than I want. Anyone know of any? I am willing to drive half hour or so.

The Tampa YMCAs offer belly dancing class. I don't know if there is a Y up in Brooksville. Or if Tampa is too far to drive but I was there yesterday and the lady there told me about it.

Just read a advertisement in the Chronical about a class in being held in Homassas area. Check out todays Citrus Chronical/Inverness for more information. I was hoping there would be one in Hernando County myself.

Did you find anyone? I am just moving to the area, and am looking for some advanced classes to take and also a place to teach tribal fusion belly dance. I would love any advice or referrals anyone can give. Thanx! ;-)

Try Body Fitness in Spring Hill. They have Belly Dancing and also great Zumba classes.
