This is my first post!! I live in Queens, NY and my husband got an amazing job opportunity in South Tampa....we are still contemplating this HUGE move and are weighing all of our options. This forum has been great and extremely informative. I have a couple of questions.
Being that this is going to be a huge move for us since we have no family and friends in Tampa...or in all of Florida for that matter...we are definitely looking to rent in South Tampa. Someone suggested looking into Post Properties and from their websites....their properties are gorgeous....and the rental prices are of course on the high end! Are the rental amounts posted on their website subject to negotiations?? They have four locations: Post Bay at Rocky Point, Post Harbour, Post Hyde Park and Post Rocky Point.
Moderator cut: website

Any advice or suggestions on these locations? Anything good or bad? Should i avoid checking out any of these buildings?

HELP!

I've never lived in a Post Property but I have looked at many of them when my gf and I were looking for apts when we first moved down here years ago.

They are on the highside because they cater mainly to professionals and their properties are generally very well maintained and very secure. I don't think you could go wrong with any of the Post Properties, just a matter of picking one that's the most convenient for you and your husband.

Oh, btw-management companies do not negotiate prices. The office doesn't make the price that is offered. they are just told what to charge. they may be throwing specials though.
