Hello,
We are moving to Clearwater. My husband is literally in the car driving now and I am going in 3 weeks. We both have blackberries here in Canada but need to get new ones once he arrives. Can anyone tell me the best company to go with? We need to be able to email to blackberries here in Canada. We have a family plan here. He uses his mostly for work. He needs data etc...thanks so much....can't wait to get there...

A large metro area like Tampa should have good coverage with all the major companies. You'll find people who swear one company is Jesus re-incarnated and other people who declare said company to be satan himself.

Best thing is to hit the web site for Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint and see who has the best package for what you need. I think those are now the major players here in the states, someone chime in if I've missed one.

Good luck in Clearwater! We're moving to St. Pete in a few weeks also and will be renting a home in Clearwater for a while upon arrival.

I use a blackberry and have ATT and I'm satisfied with their service. Before I had Verizon which had a better receiving than ATT but their cutomer service is horrible and many times the bill wasn't correct and it took me hours to get it corrected. ATT is going to build more towers in this area so the receiving should get better and than it will almost be perfect. I had hoped the prices would have gone down by now since almost every person except for toddlers, have a cell phone....but I guess the cell phone providers are making good profits...

Go to LetsTalk.com and place your order. You will get an awesome price on the phones (we just got 2 new blackberries--a Curve and a Bold for free) and discounted rates on services.

We have Blackberrys and T-Mobile. We're happy, and we LOVE the free wi-fi calling!

We have Verizon , the coverage is better than all the others. With ATT I would always lose my signal while on a call and with data this is awful.
