Hello again! So I've secured a job 12 minutes from my apartment in Palm Harbor. It's right at the end of Tampa Rd before it becomes Ozona. SOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!
I think proving people wrong is 1/2 the fun of accomplishment! No one thought I'd be able to find a job while I lived in VT. But I did and it's well within the pay limits I set for myself. From the phone conversations I've had, the job sounds great. And if it's not, at least it's money to pay the bills.
Only 2 weeks and I'll be making the drive to my new home. I can't believe how fast the time went.
I honestly can't wait. It's going to be such a huge change. A change I'm totally pumped for!

Good for you! You have just proved to the naysayers that people can move to Tampa and secure a job.

That's good stuff, congratulations. I truly believe anything can be accomplished with a little work. Many would have simply seen the negative posts by others and given up, I'm glad you stick with it. you are really going to enjoy yourself down here. If I can be of any help just let me know and I'll do my best. Again, congrats.

Thank you, thank you!!! It was hard work... I applied to over 40 ads over 3 months. Not fun.
I know it's going to be quite different but I think great too.
I hope this does give those people thinking about moving some perspective. I planned for months, I researched and I networked. I still have 6 months worth of living expenses saved up just in case.
Now it's just count down time. I can't wait to be posting about my new adventures in Tampa Bay soon!!

Congratulations! And you are going to love living in that area. I love Ozona, it feels like you are way out in the country but you are right near everything. And the whole area has lots going on.

Good for you! I just love these success stories.

It doesn't say it anywhere. How much does the job pay and what are your credentials?

Frankly, it's not your business. She is not inclined to discuss if she rather not.
