There are some royal palms on Bayshore Dr that survived last years freezes. We will see how they survive this weeks cold snap.

They will do fine. It was the super hard freezes of 81 and 83 that killed most tropical plants when it got down to 19 in Tampa on XMAS of 83.

Royal Palms usually fare better than coconut trees during hard freeze. I planted some Asian Guava trees and I will take a chance to find how they fare after the freeze without cover
