Just as well call it deadhill now. Home prices have fallen like a rock, in time it will end up like Port richey.

Actually to you. Not much has changed. There was a level time for years with normal growth in real estate prices, then a huge boom followed by the resounding thud of a depression. Things are just simply where they were prior to the boom.

Deadhill............do you drive around Hernando county with a bag on your head? have you seen the huge new school they are building near Glen Lakes, The completed one on Powell, extension to Springstead. 19 & SH drive & Mariner now 6 and 4 lanes. Upgrading county line road, all the new shops at the eastern end of S H drive..............Dead hill??????

Whats home prices got to do with anything. Like NPR? Take a drive around Jasmine lakes/Embassy/Moog/Darlington and then compare. Compare Pine island to Hudson "beach".......

I have always called Springhill deadhill. Most are older peeps that live there.

I know for a fact Springhill is a millions times better than west Pasco, i would much rather live in SH.

Home prices have taken the biggest hit by far in west Pasco. I can buy homes all day long from 30 to 50k.

A lot of the housing stock in west Pasco is older than Spring Hill in general. Smaller, simplier, older in older areas that were designed as retirement villages that have turned into year round housing. That is where you will find your bargains.

Most of west Pasco came alive around 1972, seems Springhill started going up around 1981.
