Hello,
We are a young couple currently living in the Washington DC area. Originaly we are Europeans who started a life in the USA few years ago. Even tough we think that Washington DC is an amazing place to live in , we would love to move to Florida, particulary Tampa Bay area.We both enjoy beach a lot and function better in the weather condition similar to Florida. We are young and would like to start somewhere else. We would need to find a jobs and an apartment( we are still not ready to purchase a house). Can someone tell us is Tampa a good place or we should consider something else?
( we would appreciate any advice about jobs, apartments, neighborhoods).
Thank You very much.

What kind of culture do you prefer? Urban vs suburban? Tampa - Channelside in particular - is a good place for city living. SoHo and Hyde Park are also good - kind of artsy districts. St Pete and Clearwater are closer to the beach areas but more on the suburban side and a little slower pace. I live in Clearwater and love it because it's central to Pinellas (Clearwater/St Pete) and Hillsborough (Tampa) counties. What kinds of things do you enjoy doing? And have you scouted jobs yet?
