Are there a lot of toll roads or toll bridges in the Tampa/St petersburg area?

Only two--the Crosstown/Selmon Expsy - to be used if you live in suburbs East of Tampa(Brandon, Riverview, Apollo Beach, etc.) for a quick easy ride into downtown Tampa or South Tampa areas.

Veterans Expsy - to be used if you live NorthWest Tampa suburbs for a ride to the Airport, Westshore District, and connects to I-275 for other points.

In pinellas county across the Bay, the only bridge that has tolls is the Sunshine Skyway, for those travelling from St. Pete to Bradenton/Sarasota areas and vice versa, and the Pinellas Bay Way for those going from south St. Pete area to Tierra Verde and St. Pete Beach/Pass-a-Grille.

Am I missing anyting?

Nope, you got all of them, at least in Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties.

My situation is I am moving to Tampa soon and everywhere I am looking to move there seems to be a toll road. It seems like it will be very expensive to travel these tolls back and forth to work everyday. $6 a day! Plus, gas lunch. It cost a lot of money to work. haha

Id sugest you look somewhere else. There are many people in the area that dont use either of the two toll roads, or use them more as convenience.

They're pretty safe, imo and save a lot of time. I'm always using the Selman - couldn't imagine the stop and go from traffic lights on Brandon BLVD/60.

Where do you plan on living and where is your job? The tolls are really pretty cheap. $6 seems a little steep.

I believe from one end to another on Selman, you're looking at $2.50-3/trip. I usually get on at I-75 and take to the end at MacDill.

Yes, $3 each way is $6 a day. Right? Unless you get credit for your return trip.
I have looked at living in Brandon which I would take the Selman and Odessa taking the suncoast also around $3. Also looked at new tampa, no toll but it does not seem that easy to get to 275. It appears you must go north first or go on surface routes. I am concerned only for the daily commute to and from work during rushhour.

What is the toll charge for crossing the bay from Clearwater Beach to the Tampa International Airport?
Toll #60
And is this a toll bridge?
