That question can't be answered as it's different for everyone. You just have to call around and get quotes from all of the different companies.

We have Esurance.......(online only) for the past 6 years, it's been OK. I would say it is pretty affordable by comparison with others....

Go to an agent that deals with multiple companies. I found a difference in price for the same company between on line and the office. The office was cheaper. I have Mercury which was the cheapest - I've got great credit and no tickets or claims. I'm told they'll dump me if I get one.

They will, I was dumped after a car accident...that was years ago and I always liked them and would have stayed...I was told they didn't serve my area after I moved, but I believe it was the accident...

You have to be very careful in comparing the policy. I'm doing it right now and we also have no accidents (in the last 5 yrs), tickets, etc...

One thing I noticed that's been pulled on me when shopping for quotes is that they drop the accident "stacking" option - despite the fact that I ask them to quote for exactly what I currently have, which clearly says "stacked." Had this happen several times. Read and compare your quotes carefully!

Not here they aren't. Those clowns gave me an online quote of $3600 every six months. When I talked to a rep to see if they were actually serious with that number, she ran it again and got a price of $3000. When I told her that even Geico was half that figure, her answer was that they don't advertise that they are the cheapest because they aren't.

I went with 21st Century and pay just over $1100 every six months. That is for three vehicles, three drivers, standard coverage (not minimum) with comprehensive on all vehicles.
