My husband and I are looking at an inexpensive trailor in Caribbean Isles 55+ community. Anyone know anything about it?

I have lived in Apollo Beach for 14 years and there was a time when I was happy to say that I lived here. With the recent section8 moving into the newer subdivisions has made it far from what it use to be and with the falling economy the value of our houses has dropped over 1/2. I would not recommend moving here. There isnt anything to do. There are no good bars, restaurants or shopping and the roads can not handle the traffic. I would recommend going south towards the Gulf beaches.

My husband and I want to buy a home in Apollo Beach and are having trouble finding insurance coverage we can afford. I need a referral for a good agent. If anyone has had a problem, please let me know how you resolved it.

You must understand that many parts of Apollo Beach are in a flood zone, so insurance will be expensive.
If you want to deal with a really nice guy who is honest and will find you the best price, I'd like to suggest my agent, Joel Meek. Here's his contact information:
