How is this Termidor pesticide applied to a pool full of ants? as i hardly think its a healthy course of action to then use the pool if the water has pesticides in it..

Which part has you confused, the fact that ants are not amphibious, therefore could not possibly be reproducing in the pool, or how pesticide is used?

The way i see it you have a million ants in your swimming pool and you want to get rid of them with a pesticide called Termidor, i'm just curious as to how you are going to apply this product if the ants are in the pool..

OP:

1. Call pool cleaning experts and see if it's a common problem and what they recommend.

2. Call pest control experts and see if it's a common problem and what they recommend.

3. Google search and see if it's a common problem and what others recommend.

4. Get back to us with the results.

I think the op should be more diligent on finding out where these ants are coming from so they can be treated before they get in the pool, they obviously have a large nest somewhere close by.
Or just call professionals to deal with the issue.
I'd be curious to know whats attracting these ants to this particular pool.
