Hello. I will be moving to Tampa Flordia fairly shortly and I wanted to know what areas were good areas to live. A little about me, I have twin boys ages 8, I am 28 years old and single, a RN, and have a small doggy. I am loking for areas that have great school systems, kid -friendly areas, close to parks, grocery stores, pharmacies, etc..Having to commute is not a factor for me, i just really want a safe place to raise my boys and where i can still be sociable with other singles. I am looking to purchase a home between 60k-200k. If i needed to rent for a while until i found a good area, my max for rent is 1000 dollars. Any help or suggestions would be great. Thanks a million

Where will you or your DH be working?
What is an acceptable commute time?

I would suggest if you can afford it WestChase right now I"m in the West Park Village section and I rent a house here, they have lovely rentals as well as homes for sale and you can def get a bargain here, there's some great parks, shopping and schools are supposed to be very good here....I don't have school age children any more

New Tampa and Brandon/Riverview look like they may suit you. Family friendly areas with everything you need right in the community as well as reasonable rent.
