I don't know. I'm way inland and have some canned good so I'm going about my business. Sure would like to see some nice rain left as a gift.

It's a complex weather setup in the upcoming week, but no - as of today, it looks like a panhandle hit, as a tropical depression.

There is quite a bit of wind shear in the Gulf that would weaken this storm, as well as cooler water temps that can't sustain a Hurricane.

Having said all that - we might get some significant wind and rain from this system. We've been quite lucky so far this year.

Just statistically overdo by about 2 years but really means nothing.

I did find it kind of funny though that hurricanecity.com said before the season that if it was a slow season that Spring Hill would be in the top 10 of places that could get hit.

With all due respect - statistics have nothing to do with a hit.
It's about weather patterns, cold fronts and water temps.

This time of year is our biggest threat - as storms form in the Caribbean - move into the Gulf, and with an approaching cold front - can get pushed into SW Florida coast. (aka Charlie)
