Please say you are kidding about dumping oil in the back yard.

Environmental change, caused by man or not, is certainly a concern.
Environmental changes will affect the food supply.
There's a lot of things that we can do with out, food is not one of them.

I try to be by doing such things as storing my used motor oil in milk jugs to take to NAPA. But the fear if it getting on the interior of my Buick usually results in my dumping it in the back yard. I would then joke about having my own La Brea Tar Pits.

allow me to reiterate...

SO SICK OF THIS WEATHER!!! today is worse than liverpool england, on its worst day! The whole "well at least its better than the rest of the country" refrain is wearing thin. The other day the temperature in vancouver, AT THE WINTER OLYMPICS, was actually higher than in tampa (and without the rain)! i just spoke to relatives near chicago who reported that the temperature there was within 5 degrees of the weather here!

blah.
