Hey yall I'm looking for advise, do any of you know where I can land a job being a deckhand or crew? I've just turned 20 today, and looking for work so I can save and finish my degree. Thanks in advance for any advise, Gene

I would go boat to boat in the afternoon and introduce myself and ask if they need any help or know of a Captain that needed help. Print up some cards with your name & number and leave one with each contact.

I'd check around the Port of Tampa and keep pestering them. I know a fella years ago that got a job working on a tugboat, the pay was good, he loved it.
