Hello everyone,

I'm normally hanging out on the Orlando forums (by way of NC) but was thinking of going to BG over Easter weekend with my family. Any locals go enough or have gone on Easter to speculate?

Thanks in advance!

My family went last year on Easter day and it was PACKED!!! Very long lines for everything. After mostly just walking around the park because the lines were outrageously long, we decided to leave and go to the beach. We went back to Busch Gardens the next day and it was great. Not as many people and we rode everything.

Thanks for the response...maybe we'll stick with Sea World and Aquatica this go round (since we'll only be there for two days) and save BG for our week long trip in July.

We're brand spankin' new Platinum Pass members as of today and it's already burning a hole in our pockets!

I've been going for the weekly concerts and can't believe the number of tourist there in the middle of the week - before spring break - mostly Europeans and northerners. I understand that the waterpark of Busch will be opening soon and if the weather stays warm, it'll likely be pretty packed.

We just went to Seaworld a few months ago. The new coaster Manta was fantastic! There is an aquarium to view as you walk through the line for the ride. You can also see the aquarium (from a different perspective) if you arent riding, you just go in a different entrance. This is definately one ride to NOT carry anything on such as phones, cameras, ball caps, head bands, change or anything else loose in your pockets!!! You wont want to have gum in your mouth either. My teenage daughter found that out the hard way.

Seaworld also opened their new "Jungala" area in the past year if you haven't been there lately. And they also have a new Sesame Street themed area (used to be land of the dragons) if you have little ones that are into that stuff.

Have a great time!
