Just to follow up-after calling several places in Tampa I found an excellent teacher. Thank you everyone for your input and ideas and thank you Chabad of Tampa.

There's a place on Bay to Bay just east of Manhattan (over in South Tampa) that teaches it. They usually have a banner outside.

Did you find a tutor or private Hebrew teacher. I live in Tampa and I learned Modern Hebrew at the Hebrew University. I speak Hebrew fluently. I will be more than happy to teach you.

I used to live in tampa and getting ready to move back. I also went to the Hillel on fletcher Ave. for 10 years of my life. Mrs Ladetzky is pretty awesome. Since I am evidently on a jewish board/topic, i fig i would ask this.
Where are all the jews in tampa? I feel that they all left, to either orlando, miami, or NYC? Whenever I would go to events at my childhood temple I would bring down the median age by approx. 20 years. So what im really asking is where are jews that are in the 22-26 age range (mainly girls for obvious reasons) Could someone please get back to me on this one.
