This is partway true, it is an older publication, personally I'd say healthcare business.

Jobs in Technology and Computers
Technology careers are booming in Florida. The top seven jobs expected to experience significant growth by 2010 are computer software specialists, computer software applications engineers, network administrators, computer systems software engineers, desktop publishers, systems analysts, and database administrators.

Jobs in Health Care
Health and medical professionals are in high demand in Florida . According to The Orlando Sentinel, Orlando news, information, weather, hurricane coverage, sports, entertainment, restaurants, real estate, jobs, business, classifieds - OrlandoSentinel.com, the positions in greatest demand are physicians assistants, medical assistants, medical records and health information technicians, physical therapy aides, respiratory therapy technicians, occupational therapy assistants, home health aides, registered nurses, pharmacy technicians, and mental health and substance abuse social workers.

Jobs in Construction Trades
The construction field is the second fastest growing in the State of Florida with project managers in particularly high demand. Other hot job prospects are available for electricians, carpenters, mechanics, plasterers, concrete finishers, drywall installers, lathers, and laborers. (er I think this is incorrect at this time!)

Top Ten Florida Employers
The top ten employers in Florida are Hulett Environmental Svc. (Orlando), University of Florida (Gainesville), Pensacola Naval Air Station (Pensacola), Florida Hospital (Orlando), Orlando Regional Healthcare (Orlando), City of Jacksonville (Jacksonville), Broward County Commissioners (Fort Lauderdale), Lee Memorial Health System (Fort Myers), Shands Hospital (Gainesville), and Florida Hospital Ctr. (Orlando).

Federal Government/Governement Consultant work @ MacDill AFB is hands down the best bet for both salary and job security.

It is a tough market to tap into, but once you do- it is a pretty sweet ride.
