Hi,

I'm in the early stages of starting a tutoring/learning center business in my town, and would be grateful for your feedback to help me find a name that resonates with most people.
I've short-listed several names and hope to get a few hundred responses to get a good sample; but, after a month of asking family and friends I only have 20 response. I'm hoping this forum can help.

Here is the link for my one question survey:

Please remember to:
* Press submit button on the survey
* Post a note back on this thread so that the community knows about its activity

Thanks in advance,
Edvin

OP, your email address (from the website) doesn't work. I wanted to email you my own suggestion for a name, taken from elements of the various ones you posted.

Hi Ruth,

I just updated my profile settings to receive emails.

Thank you for taking the time to give me your thoughts.

This thread isn't getting much love; still hoping I can get some more response.

I may have to go old-school. This weekend I'll try to go in front of a big-box or grocery store (with permission of course) and solicit people's opinion on their way out.

I really don’t like any of the names. I especially don’t like the ++ names. Also you may want to narrow your focus. I’m not sure, as a high school parent, I’d want a K tutor working with my child.

ETA- your intro paragraphs need with too.

You have a great point with regards to K in the name; but, I didn't know how others felt about it.
Same is true with A++. The rational for this designation is that 1) it stands out and 2) the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awards such grades. Considering that US is a melting-pot of different cultures, I didn't know what to expect. I would like to do a generic brand (i.e. Nike, amazon, etc); but, I would have a steeper marketing effort.

But, feedback like yours helps me narrow it down.

Thank you.
