For who else is this a burning question?

We've seen the news of what's going on nationwide with the extremely large gatherings in contrast to the social distancing guidelines.

So now it's time just waiting to see within the next month of how mother nature will take its course.

Our state is waiting to see how things go by July 15th to whether or not it's safe to reopen.

How's everything going on your end?

Sometimes I wish a had a crystal ball on all of this. The uncertainty is killing me.

I am a school cook for a small village in the interior of the state. Our state has a small population and we are isolated a lot from the rest of the country (Alaska). We are also requiring a test for anyone that comes in to the state. All of this helps to at least keep infection numbers down, but we are still getting a a spike in numbers since the state opened up. Most of our school districts are planning for 3 scenarios. Opening up completely, opening up only to a limited number of kids with others on home school, or having all kids on homeschool. Because we had 1 quarter last year that had all kids on homeschool, we learned a lot. I really hope that we do have at least some kids back in school, but for me, if we do only a partial re-open, it means more work, more paperwork, ect. I don't know if I will get help either. We are seriously looking at the possibility of kids eating in classrooms, so that will be interesting to plan for.
