The bottom line is that there likely is no "perfect mask". And when it comes to our shared former system I can't help but think that they'll make the teachers supply their own gear and cleaning supplies after about January, which is the current schedule for resuming in the building classes, because they will have run out of them already. While online classes are being held the first semester teachers are still expected to report to the schools. How often is undetermined but it's at least a couple times a week right now. My money is on three. The plan is to have full in person pre-service of seven days.

I've worn them a few times & like them. They come to a point so it's not directly touching your nose/mouth, so you can breathe & talk better.

Our craft store has a new line of faceshields for $4. They also have so.e very funny and classic washable masks for $6 Their vast Star Wars character selection was entertaining. As a teacher, you could change your mask and mood of the classroom every day. And have a few of the happy / sad/ confused masks to communicate the current mood of the classroom. Lots of animal and movie star mask themes. Add science and technology themes. (Good PT design business for educators.

I got the Under Armour masks yesterday, 8/26.

I'll try to report back how it was when I wore them.

I'm sure they're good, because they're so damn uncomfortable. You can hardly breath through them.

It's like food, if it tastes good you can pretty much guarantee that it's fattening.

The specs on this particular mask says "Does not protect against viruses". So then, what would be the point?

This evening I'm attending the first high school game of the year at the school my son coaches at.

The school's regulations concerning mask wearing to me does make a lot of sense without going over the top Corona-Nuts.

All fans are required to wear masks when entering or leaving the stadium and every time they move around in the stands or go to the concession stands. They encourage attempting to social distance, but do not require the fans to wear their masks while sitting.

I'm good with it. I'll wear my non-KN95 mask when I'm moving around so I can breathe. I do own a KN95 and will have it handy if I find myself packed in with people and it appears a little risky.

So true. Well, a lot or most of them say that, right? Some protection is better than none at all.

They pretty much all say that because nothing is 100% and no one would manufacture them if they could be sued by someone who still got a virus while wearing a mask.
