I dunno, if you actually read the letter....they are asking for armed responses nationwide. Methinks a number of school board members wont be, come next cycle.
If one were cynical, they would offer that these measures from the top are put in place in order to play to the lowest denominator to INCITE violence, thereby enabling martial law.

Makes me very glad to live in an area where parents prefer to work with schools to educate their kids, rather than use their kids as pawns and fight with schools in order to value signal their political agendas.
Our school board and pto meetings might have some debates, but everyone has the kids' best interests in mind, so we maintain respect for each other and work together. Nobody here would ever imagine using them as a forum for political protest.
It's amazing and disheartening to see such a dysfunctional society in the rest of America. Looks like our great republic may be nearing its final days. Sad.
