I am a certified Generalist 4-8 gr. teacher in Texas. I plan to move to San Diego. I have been teaching Science for the past 4 years. I was wondering about the steps I would need to take to be certified in Cali.

You'll find most of what you need at the California Commission on Teaching Credentialing website, but be prepared for a loooooooooong and frustrating process .....

California is also going to be cutting a lot of teachers, so even after you are certified it is likely to be pretty tough to get a job.
