This was my first time there (MTSU) and I was very impressed with how nice everyone was and how well organized they had the orientation.

I was just reading thru an older post that has just been bumped up, and found a link to job listings in the Oak Ridge area.
While scanning thru the listings for both myself (medical insurance clerical) and my husband (construction), I found this listing for Trim Carpenters:

http://hotjobs.yahoo.com/jobseeker/jobsearch/job_detail.html?job_id=JWU5DG7HUYR (broken link)

No wages listed, but at least it's a start.

blessings, Shen

HengyMama: There are lots of hospitals in Knoxville. WONDERFUL hospitals.

I met someone in pre-op at Fort Sanders that had just moved from Florida. She loves it here. Fort Sanders is the best hospital in the city. Government website says so. Also a great big billboard in Knoxville.

JMT and I are living proof about Fort Sanders.

I do believe you are Jewish? Sequoyah Hills has a great synagogue and is right down the street from the hospital. Best neighborhood in the area. Very pricey, though.

Hope this helps, my friend!

I respectfully disagree that Fort Sanders is the best hospital in the city. Each hospital has its' pro's and con's, but to name one as the best is not representing the vast expertise offered by the entire line of hospitals to the entire region. Just my humble opinion as someone that is in the medical field.

Show the statistics. I've read them all.

And what is the best hospital?

We just bought a lot last week in Candlewood, east of Maryville, about twelve minutes from Blount Memorial. I emailed several hospitals in Knoxville and Maryville and they all came up with almost the exact rate of pay for RN's, give or take a few cents. Blount offered a larger sign on bonus than UT so I think I am going to go with Blount. Thanks for looking out for me
