MEMPHIS, Tenn. (AP) - FedEx is searching for radioactive rods used for medical equipment that went missing during shipment between North Dakota and Tennessee.

Memphis-based FedEx spokeswoman Sandra Munoz said Friday the rods are used for quality control purposes for computerized tomography equipment, or CT scans.

When i first read this, i thought maybe that's why the Fed Ex truck i passed this morning was driving so slowly.... looking along the roadside for rods that might have rolled out!
