Wow, my granddaughter had a great time playing in the snow. We tried to make a snowman but we were only working with the snow on the porch. She made a snow angel and a snow man about 8" high. Oh well it was fun. I guess we need more practice. It stuck to our gloves more that the snowman. She thought it was sooo cool.

It's lightly flurrying here in Murfreesboro, but I don't expect it to stick.

It was pretty heavy there for a little bit. Now the sun is shinning and you see a couple float by every so often. Our porch decks was solid white about an inch or two.

OK don't laugh !
I guess we need a lot of practice. Maybe next time it will be better, if we get more snow.

Thanks for the photos. Absolutely love the snow-covered flip flops. And pretty in pink, looks like she's having fun.

It's snowing on the eastern side of the Cumberland Plateau. Got a light dusting so far. It comes and goes.

It ended up coming down pretty hard occasionally here, but no accumulation for the most part. It was still nice, though.

Very, very light flurries all day in Knoxville. Way more in Niota, obviously.

We started out with a good dusting but it never stuck around as much either!! I think someone was very lucky to get enough to make a great snowman. What snow we had did not appear to be good snowman material being to light and fluffy/dry to pack well. I think the size and appearance of your snowman was pretty good for the conditions and would never dare laugh.

Thanks for sharing the pictures of your first snow.
