I have to say this summer in NE Tennessee has been excellent. No humidity even on July 26th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am enjoying the cool breezes at sunset and quiet forest in my backyard. I am very happy with this summer!!!!

The weather has been AWESOME...all I heard was how miserable I would be here with the heat and humidity. I realize this isn't normal, but I still say it can't get worse than the midwest, where it's been unbearable ever since we left.

I miss my forest in my back yard though...that would be nice.

You bet it's nice! I built a little clubhouse for my son and we "camped" in it last weekend. I put a box fan in for a small breeze and dog-bark-filtering-noise and actually had to shut it off as it got CHILLY! In JULY!! Amazing wonderful weather and we are lovin' it!

It's been an unusually dry and actually hotter than normal summer.
East Tennesseans are heat wimps. They start yelling about a heat wave if it hits 90 two days in a row.
I moved here from South Georgia and spent many years in Washington, D.C. and find the summers here very pleasant. I usually turn off the AC during the day and just open the windows.
We're finally getting the rain we desperately need.

Today isn't even bothering me...I'm used to 90+ and humidity every day this time of year.

Oh i know. we were there the first week in July and it was great weather lows 60's highs 80's. Not even one mosquito bite the whole week we were camping maybe because of the cooler nights. Came back home to FL and have been hibernating indoors from the humidity and mosquitos since then. I can't wait to move.
