... A potential severe weather and heavy rainfall event likely
Monday through Monday night...

As a strong low pressure system moves through the lower Great
Lakes region Monday and Monday night... a strong cold front is
expected to move through the area. Ahead of this cold front...
afternoon high temperatures will warm to near 80 degrees at
most locations... mid 70s plateau... with a moist and increasingly
unstable airmass expected to be in place... by Monday afternoon.

Also... surface and low level winds are expected to be very strong.
This potential weather pattern will set the stage for a potential
widespread strong to severe thunderstorm development across the
mid state... with the potential of these thunderstorms forming
into a well organized line segment... and even the possibility of
supercells forming ahead and within this line segment also. This
could bring the possibility of a widespread damaging wind event
with large hail to the mid state. Also... a few tornadoes could
also be possible.

Along with the severe thunderstorms... heavy rainfall and flash
flooding could also be possible... with rainfall amounts of
between one and three inches. Localized amounts above three inches
can also not be ruled out in areas that experience repeated
thunderstorm activity Monday through Monday night.

Thanks, Bones. We should spend tomorrow 'battening down the hatches'.... then tomorrow night 'hunkering down'! I guess all the yard work we did today will be undone if we get strong winds .

I totally feel you! You spent the day burning the limbs from the last storm.
