Could anyone tell me when Dollywood hosts Gays this year or are Gays not welcome at Dollywood or Tennessee for that matter? Just curious.

I don't think there is a formal gay day hosted at Dollywood anymore, I believe they cut that out a few years ago. You should be able to get in any day of the year that they're open & selling tickets. I've personally never been asked my sexual preference when buying a themepark ticket

Gay Days at Dollywood was never officially hosted by Dollywood anymore than any other theme park. Disney has never officially hosted a "Gay Days," either. The problem began when Dollywood told the "Gay Days at Dollywood" folks to drop using their name because it was copyright infringement. Dollywood pushed enough to where the folks behind "Gay Days" dropped the "official" day.
