I really like open space and the lake area around Paris. I hope I can block the thought of my property resembling my ex-wife. Maybe that's why there are so many thorny briers growing in the field?

saw where you were moving to mid or e. tn because of tornadoes. how is this working out for you? tornadoes have ravaged this area in the last five or so weeks. there have been at least 4. unfortunately, people lost their lives in murfreesboro. this town also suffered tornado damage around 1998/99, along w/ nashville, tn. east tn experienced 2 tornadoes this past weekend. i understand there have been major flooding issues in recent days, last week, in fact, in the nashville area. is the terrible fog problem in east tn being addressed. particularly, that infamous area on i-40, where so many were killed in that huge car pile-up. i hope so. i won't recommend anyone move to that area until these things are addressed. what about forest fires? ice storms? i have heard these things are really bad. smog and air quality is reported to be some of the worst in the nation. i don't want to recommend this area until this has been eliminated. scary!!! w/ the drug crime and the weather/enviornment problems, i don't know if this area of the state is really safe for most, imo. please let me know when it is safe to move there and to recommend to others. thanks.

Anything you find in Memphis for $50k I can almost guarantee you, you won't like it.

Rather it be in downtown Memphis or out in the sticks where you hear banjos...
