Here it was something like 60 early this morning with a prediction of about 87 this afternoon.

Here in Nashville the earliest frost on record was October 2nd back in the 80's sometime.

Somebody has to tell the trees it's okay to start changing colors now.
You can go ahead and tell the trees to change, but I don't think we're going to be getting a lot of color this year. I would LOVE to be wrong.

I would also love to have a big blizzard this year. Of course, that means 9 inches to Tenneesseans, but that would be okay. Heck, I'll take 3 inches!

Hey - it's the South. Sweater weather does not begin until late November, or even on into December. And it IS cooler...you should have been here in August! I hope you aren't expecting a white Christmas. Besides, 80 degrees is too cool for a pool for me.

Who are you responding to? Alleycat is a Tennessee native.

And I've been here two years. I don't expect a white Christmas. I don't expect much snow at all.

80 is too cool for pool?

This morning around 7:00A was the first time I reached outside my door to grab the newspaper and it was cooler outside the door than inside my home. I thought - WOOOHOO!

Although, now I have lost my excuse for not walking more.

Never mind the cats . . . this is going down as the weirdest weather year since Tennessee was a state. Snow in mid April. Day after day of above 100 degree temperatures. Drought.

No, we'll probably get tornadoes for Christmas. "I'm dreaming of a win-dy Christmas, just like the one that Dorothy knew . . . "

Okay, I'll shut up.
