We're getting some nice "fall showers" here this morning (not thunderstorms, just a nice gently falling rain). I think they're suppose to have them over the next couple of days.

I heard on the news this morning that we were sixteen inches below normal for the year here in Nashville. Sixteen inches!

And it's starting to look a little like fall here. I noticed a few more trees were beginning to change color.

A few more days of rain! Yippee!

The foliage may not be that great, but I am glad to feel the crispness of the fall air, and am looking to a nice blizzard this winter! I know. Tennessee blizzard equals six inches. That's okay. I'll take it!

glorious rain! I was driving in some high areas today and the low lying fog looked like mist in the trees---very cool effect

It's been raining most of the day in Nashville, with more on the way. On the radar it looks like it's going too much directly north to get to East Tennessee. I'll keep my fingers crossed for all of you over there.

No rain for us today, it was even a little hot. It's supposed to rain tomorrow and I sure hope we get it.

OMG! Gray got rain and JC didn't jabogitlu? I think that is a first! LOL
It started this afternoon and still raining, nothing heavy but I think it is enough to start soaking into the ground verses just surface and we REALLY need that. The colors are REALLY starting to turn here in the Tri-Cities, especially up Kingsport way.

We have about one-quarter inch so far. More to come, says the forecast!

Leaves looked kind of yucky, today.

Smile Love the rain, but we had to leave TN way too soon!

We are so happy to see the rain, finally! But, it cut our visit in Tennessee short! We spent the weekend checking out Chattanooga - finally, got to see Lookout Mt. and Signal Mt. Just terrific!

The plan was to head up to Crossville/Cookeville today and then over to Knoxville Wed. Can't see much in the rain though, so we came home this afternoon from Chatty and will start out fresh again Thurs. AM.

Finally got back to visit and then the rains come. We are just so happy for the rain, though. The weather newsman in Chattanooga said maybe 2-3 inches for them over the next 3 days. We hope everyone gets a good dose of it! It sure would help the drought situation. I hope it isn't too little too late.
