We're suppose to get our first real freeze here in Nashville tonight. It's suppose to get down to 29 by morning.

To me, 29 degrees at this time of the year feels colder than 0 degrees will come January. I haven't quite adjusted to it being cold yet.

It's 30 degrees right now. I'm sitting here in the warm house waiting for my car to defrost. Have a great day!

It's 28 now. I love this weather. A little snow and I am good.

It's chilly here this morning. If it drops two more degrees the TV weather people will be predicting snow. One of these days I'm going to keep up with how many snow predictions are made compared to how many actual snows we get. I would guess it's something like six to one. Maybe ten to one.

That's a great idea. I'll do it. It will be funny!

Few degrees difference here in the Tri-Cities. Johny Wood (channel 5) is projecting 48 for high today and 25 as a low!
Can you believe 2 weeks ago we were in the 80's. The old timers around here have a saying I think is cute: "If you don't like the weather here, wait a few minutes, it'll change" LOL!

Edit- Johny just came back on the TV and said "we could see a snowflake or two Friday" so there is your first projection to track Hiknapster hahahahaha

Hiknapster is jumping up and down! Yes! Yes! Yes!

I figure if God couldn't see fit to send us some rain then He can at least send us some snow. We are due!

Question - is this cold weather sooner than usual for you all up there in TN? We are Floridians wanting to move to TN (have some family in northern TN but we thought was too far north)....been looking at Cookeville and plan to check out Hendersonville/Gallatin and even Mount Juliet/Lebanon. Saw Cookeville and loved it but concerned about needing more services....but loved the folks there! But wondered how we could handle the cooler weather. Originally from the Midwest but that was WAYYYYYYY too cold so moved to FL 17 yrs ago. Wanting to move (you all know why from this forum, I am sure). When it is 40 here it feels like a -40, it is more humid here so I think that makes the cold feel worse. Just wondered with your freeze predicted (heard about it here in Daytona area) wondered if this was unusually early? I know it is NOV but was curious. thanks!
