Yah, you guys named it (The T)! I like the Herald Citizen pretty well, although they need better proofreaders. Good heavens. I like Mary Jo Denton. She's a total hoot. She will speak her mind when you are talking to her face to face, that's for sure. I also like the guy who runs the Knoxville paper. Jack McElroy, I think? He helped me out with something last year and sure didn't have to. Really good guy.

I can't imagine the H-C telemarketing people to death!!

Have you asked to speak to a supervisor when you get the call. We had a similar situation at work thru a magazine. After I got a manager the calls stopped.

I thought you were talking about the The Knoxville Sentinel. They hounded me like you described. I finally ended my subscription. The way I saw it, I was already a customer and they turned me off with the daily calls to change my subscription, blah, blah. So finally I told one telemarketer that I didn't appreciate all these calls, that I thought they had an inferior newspaper and I no longer wanted a subscription. The calls ceased as did my subscription.
