Tennessee, here we come! Wow, this has happened so fast. I honestly thought the chances of this earliest case scenario would be slim to none and had not given it too much serious thought. Thats why I guess it took me a couple of days to decide to move.

After using some cost of living calculators online, my starting pay will actually be less than a 10% cut in my current pay. Also, it will be full salary, no more commission structures. This means no more worrying about my check if I take vacation time. My figures on the roughly 10% cut are based on what I would make (give or take $500) should I stay at my current job through December.

The great scenery and climate change along with more time with my wife and dog make this a wonderful opportunity. I appreciate all of the helpful information people have offered on this board. I will definitely keep everyone posted on the progress!

My husband and children have finally convinced me to move to TN as well. I am a little scared. i know its beautiful and I know it will be a good move for the family, but we are ready for the beautiful country life. We are relocating to the Mt. Juliet area - can anyone give me any info that may be handy - thanks!!
