With the increasing number of baby boomers hitting retirement age, in the US, I would think, any person in the medical field should be able to find work, especially if they deal in some aspect of the medical field that has to do with aging. I think you are in the right field to find work, here. If you plan to live in the southeastern US (where retirees flock), think about taking any courses you can that have do with the elderly and their medical needs.
