Very true. I think that is more reflective of Wilson's ability to attract more jobs, and not necessarily Sumner's inability to attract growth. When jobs come, people come. Wilson is probably Sumner's biggest competitor when companies are looking in the area. It also helps that Wilson is closer to the airport and will be adding new exits on I-40 in the coming years to attract more development.

Key phrase is "compared to".

Compared to Williamson and Rutherford, the entire state's growth is sluggish.

There is nothing "sluggish" about Sumner County's growth. It's just not the top dog in the metro.

Sumner is growing at a very healthy clip.
