James Pedigo and his wife spent the night of Feb. 5 huddled together in a homemade, wooden "storm house" behind their rural Trousdale County home.
They emerged to find destruction all around. A tornado had wiped out homes nearby and killed Clarence and Christine Scott, whom Pedigo had known for years.
